The Court of First Instance of the city of Ibn Jarir, attached to the province of Rahamna, has today closed the file on the file of 8 unemployed of the Ibn Jarir branch of the National Association of Unemployed Graduates of Morocco for committing offenses and demonstrations unauthorized”.

After several sessions of deliberation in this case, which began as a result of a complaint filed by the Rahamna district worker against the eight unemployed, the judiciary ruled that the five followers had been released, and one month in prison for three who were arrested and a fine of 500 dirhams.

Together with the sentencing hearing in this file, the disabled people of the Ibn Jarir branch of the National Association of Unemployed Certificate Holders of Morocco, at the door of the Court of First Instance, staged a protest, with the support of a group of political, union and human rights instances, to demand the release of their companions.

With the beginning of the decision on this case, the Moroccan Organization for Democracy and Human Rights called for the immediate release of the unemployed who are being persecuted in case of unconditional arrest, and for their lawsuit file to be treated positively in accordance with their grades and tests, and to ensure their dignity and preserve their humanity.
