Mehdi Bensaïd, Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, received on Wednesday the members of the “Tifsouin” theater group, which won the grand prize for the best integrated theatrical performance for the play “Shatara”.
In this regard, the Moroccan director Amin Nassour said, in statements to Hespress Online, that his band was very pleased with the reception it received from the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, noting that this reception took place on the sidelines of the great achievement. achieved by the band at the Cairo International Experimental Theater Festival; And by winning three important awards at the festival, which are the award for best theatrical performance, the award for best group performance in equal parts and the award for best female characterization for actress Mounia Lamkimel.
Nassour added that the minister expressed to them his great happiness with this coronation and his encouragement to the company for more work, diligence and artistic and theatrical achievements, and expressed his confidence in Moroccan playwrights and plays, and pledged to support all experiments, and young experiences in particular.
Amin Nassau revealed, in his statement, that the minister gave the band “Tifsouin” a national tour throughout the Kingdom to present the show “Shatara” that honored the Moroccan theater, noting that the members of the band, in turn , expressed their gratitude to the minister for her quick interaction and support towards them, and also for the spirit that she transmitted in the artistic and cultural sector, especially the theater, which has suffered in the recent period due to the pandemic.
It is worth mentioning that the play “Shatara” was written by playwright Saeed Abranous and directed by Amin Nassour, and is the result of the efforts of a team of more than 18 male and female artists.
