Today, Wednesday, the European Court of Human Rights condemned France for not having adequately studied the requests for the return of families of “jihadists” from Syria, and asked it to reconsider them as soon as possible.

The Grand Chamber of the European Court of Human Rights said: “The Court considers that the French government must review the applications of the applicants as soon as possible, with adequate guarantees against abuse.”

Two French families had come to this court because their two daughters, along with their sons, were detained in camps in Syria and could not return to French territory.
