The World Media Congress organizes the first conference

The Supreme Committee of the World Media Congress revealed the agenda for its first session, which includes 30 dialogue sessions with 40 speakers and leading international specialists, under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court.

The Supreme Committee of the World Media Congress stated, in a statement, that the Congress exhibition will be held from November 15 to 17 and will be organized by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Company (ADNEC), in association with the Agency Emirates News, to explore the latest developments in the media sector and its future prospects.

The same source added that “the event provides many media organizations with a unique platform to discuss cooperation and partnership opportunities that will drive the development of the media sector, ensure its long-term sustainability and continue to provide reliable and useful content.”

The statement stated that, “As part of the event, the World Congress for Media Conference, the first of its kind in the Middle East, will be held under the title Shaping the Future of the Media Sector. It also provides a unique platform that highlights the role of media in the Middle East and drives the development of the industry by reaching global audiences, supporting the realization of innovative visions and building collaborative relationships.”

The statement said that the conference hosts, in its first session, a series of media experts from around the world, to present ideas and modern perspectives on the most prominent case studies. Innovation in the industry, and is presented by a group of the most prominent leaders in various fields, including journalists, broadcasters and prominent figures in social networks, as well as government and regulatory agencies and technology companies.

The first day of the conference will discuss “The potential of the media sector”, “Future priority: Does digital media provide an ideal environment for future investments?”, “Investing in the metaverse: how media companies benefit and which is the expected return on investment?” While the list of topics for the second day includes “The impact of think tanks and opinion on media content”, “Studying social networking sites and trends of consumers in the region and their role in making a qualitative leap in the media landscape” and “Social networks: discussing the role of short videos in changing the characteristics of the media sector.

As for the last day, it focuses on “Diversity and inclusion in the digital age: women in the media sector”, “The psychological aspect of consumers: the most important current and expected trends in media consumption” and “Reducing the skills gap. to keep pace with the Fourth Industrial Revolution and beyond.”
