The Ministry of Health and Social Protection announced today Wednesday the registration of 148 new cases of (Covid-19), compared to the recovery of 357 people, while in the last 24 hours two deaths were registered.

The Ministry highlighted, in the daily outcome bulletin of (Covid-19), that 6 million 712 thousand 909 people received the third dose of the antivirus vaccine, while the number of those vaccinated with the second dose increased to 23 million 373 thousand 732 people, compared to 24 million 882 thousand 571 people who received the first dose. And 31,648 people received the fourth reminder dose recommended by the Ministry of Health and Social Protection for older adults and people with morbidity factors.

The ministry added that the new result of HIV infections has raised the total number of confirmed cases in the Kingdom to 1,263,035 cases since the first case was announced on March 2, 2020, while the total number of cases fully recovered reached 1,245,170 cases, with a recovery rate of 98.6 percent.

The cases registered during the last 24 hours are distributed among the regions of Casablanca-Settat (38), Sharq (26), Rabat-Salé-Kenitra (24), Fez-Meknes (22), Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (20). , Marrakech-Safi (10) and Beni Mellal, Khenifra (3), Souss Massa (2), Dakhla-Oued Eddahab (1), Draa-Tafilalet (1), Guelmim and Adnoun (1).

As for the two deaths, they were recorded in the Wess Massa region. The total of active cases reached 1603 cases, while no dangerous cases were recorded during the last 24 hours, bringing the total of these cases to 44 cases, while the filling rate of the designated recovery beds (Covid- 19) was 0.8 percent.
