The Ministry of Health and Social Protection announced today, Friday, the registration of 218 new cases of the “Covid-19” epidemic, compared to the recovery of 532, with 4 deaths registered in the pandemic during the last 24 hours.

The ministry highlighted that 29,605 received the fourth dose of the Corona vaccine, compared to 6,701,783 who received the third dose, while the number of those vaccinated with the second dose increased to 23,370,960, and reached 24,880,069, the number of those who received the first dose

The bulletin indicated that the new balance of HIV infections brought the total number of confirmed cases in the Kingdom to 1,262,300, since the first case was announced on March 2, 2020, while the total number of fully recovered cases reached 1,243,428 cases, with a recovery rate of 98.5 percent.

The cases registered during the last 24 hours are distributed between Casablanca-Settat (58), the eastern region (51), Fez-Meknes (22), Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (22), the destination of Rabat-Salé-Kenitra ( 22), and Marrakesh-Safi (21), Souss-Massa (12), Beni Mellal-Khenifra (4), Draa-Tafilalet (3), Guelmim-Oued Noun (3), while one death was recorded in Zagora, Azilal, Boulemane and Berkane.

The total number of active cases reached 2,618, while in the last 24 hours 7 serious or critical cases were registered, bringing the total to 66, and the filling rate of recovery beds designated for “Covid-19” reached 1.3 percent.
